3 Pinterest Findings for Fun in April!

Hey everyone!

I am linking up with Lisa at PAWSitively Teaching to bring you three Pinterest finds that I plan on using in my room this month! At the end of the post, make sure you go and check out some other blogs with awesome ideas for you to check out!

Here in Tennessee, it’s test review time. It’s a time of stress for not just to teachers, but to the students as well. The first thing we are going to do is after a long week of playing games…err… reviewing... we are going to take a TCAP practice quiz on what we covered. Students who have mastered the skill receives extra recess for the week! As we go through the questions after their quiz, then we are going to play this neat little game I saw from Third Grade Meanderings

Another pin I found goes with our social studies unit of colonization and the Road to the Revolution! Mission-Us.org has 4 missions for students to work through. They love going on virtual trips, and this might work just as well.
Displaying Slide2.JPG“For Crown or Colony?” puts players in the shoes of Nat Wheeler, a printer’s apprentice in 1770 Boston. They encounter both Patriots and Loyalists, and when rising tensions result in the Boston Massacre, they must choose where their loyalties lie.

Finally, I want to get my units in order for next year! I saw these binders and how they were organized. What a neat way to get started. I love how cute these binder labels are. I’m starting now with my Scholastic activities!
